This DVD was sold as an international version of the Season 1 DVD in Mexico. Just like Brazil's release, not all episodes in Season 1 appeared in this DVD.

In January 2008, McDonald's Happy Meal released El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera toys, consisting of four characters: El Tigre, White Pantera, Puma Loco, and Señor Siniestro. According to Dave Thomas, who worked on El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, Frida Suárez and Dr. Chipotle Jr. were made as a prototype, but both characters were never released.[2]
Sartana of the Dead was also made as a prototype, but both Frida and Sartana figures were never made as El Tigre was deemed a "boy show".[3]
In Mexico, official El Tigre pogs, stickers and a official keychain were made over there.
Official bobble-heads made of the characters were made for the crew.
Unreleased Merchandise[]
El Tigre was originally meant to be featured in the Nick Picks 6 DVD but the DVD got cancelled.
Jorge R. Gutierrez tried to pitch various toys to Nickelodeon, but the studio wasn't interested in producing the toys.[4] However, some concept arts for various pieces of unreleased "El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera" toys merchandise was shown on Tim Blankley's portfolio website.[5]
